Prof. Enefiok Essien has been appointed the new VC of University of Uyo (Uniuyo), according to a statement issued by the university and signed by the Registrar, Mrs Edak Umondak.
The statement, made available in Uyo on Monday, noted that the appointment would take effect in December.
It stated that Essien is a professor of Commercial Law, a 2-time Dean, Faculty of Law & Chairman c'ttee of Deans.
