Toke Makinwa got massive support from her fans after news of her husband Maje Ayida’s infidelity swept social media in a storm, but she gradually began to lose their support after she responded to Ayida’s loving birthday wishes. The ultimate ‘betrayal’, to many of her fans, came when the duo stepped out as a couple for The Future Awards Africa.
Now, the OAP is catching a lot of flak, and it is not pretty.
On her Instagram page yesterday, Toke shared a photo of a book on how to get a man to remain loyal to his partner and she asked her fans “who has read this book?” and if it was a “perfect Christmas gift or nah.” While many of her fans understood she was making a joke, the barrage of criticisms she received from previously adoring fans was quite stunning.
